Kumamon is the adorable bear mascot of Kumamoto Prefecture in southern Japan. He's become the country's most famous and popular mascot (a lot of cities and prefectures have mascots) because he's just so darned cute. Thanks to the Japan America Society of Colorado, Kumamon visited Colorado the past few days. In this video, he was at Pacific Mercantile in Sakura Square, with samples of food and snacks from Kumamoto. He showed us his dance moves and he hugged everybody, young and old, before taking off for a baker in Broomfield, and then Misaki at Stanley sushi bar.
