Previewing the best new phones coming at MWC 2023, from the Honor Magic 5 Pro/Prestige and Xiaomi 13 Pro to possible Nokia smartphones and some secret OnePlus shenanigans. Several mobile launches are already confirmed for MWC 2023, including global versions of the Xiaomi 13 and Pro model, and the Realme GT Neo 5. So here's what phones to expect ahead of my reviews, which should be coming to the UK in March!
We've already seen the Xiaomi 13 series launched over in China, and you can expect the global models to sport similar specs. The Pro will offer a boost to the battery charging speed, improved camera tech and a few other upgrades. Big rivals the Honor Magic 5 Pro and possibly a couple of sibling phones will also be launched at MWC 2023, just a day later.
Nokia is also confirmed to be out in Barcelona, although who knows whether we'll see smartphones or feature handsets. Other big upcoming flagship handsets such as the Oppo Find X6 Pro and Sony Xperia 1 V sadly won't be launched at MWC 2023, but we will see the Realme GT Neo 5 if you're on a tighter budget.
