The college basketball season ended for the Utah women Monday in a second-round loss in the NCAA Tournament to Gonzaga. The Bulldogs were on fire, and the Utes had no answer to cool them down.

It was a trip to the desert to open up Pac-12 play for Utah. And while it was great for Solomon Enis to come home, it was even better that the Utes started off conference play with a win.
It was a game that gave us better insight on the football program and where they can go moving forward. There were some obvious takeaways from the game that the host talk about, like a smothering defense and an offense that needs more production in the red zone.
