The final fight holds something surprisingly unique. It is actually, to date, the only final battle in a Spider-Man movie in which Peter’s mask is not removed or damaged during the final conflict with the main villain. In Spider-Man, Peter’s mask is damaged by the Green Goblin’s bomb. In Spider-Man 2 Peter removes his mask when trying to reason with Doc Ock. In Spider-Man 3, Peter’s mask is damaged by Sandman and then ripped off his face later by Venom. In The Amazing Spider-Man, Peter’s mask is removed when being choked by The Lizard. In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter removes his mask after the plane crash just before The Vulture attacks him. In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter’s mask is removed in his stand off with Mysterio. Lastly, in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter’s mask is off during Green Goblin’s attack.
