Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, she emigrated to the US as a little girl, not knowing English as she started first grade, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University.

This week I am talking to Charles Lear about his book 'The Flying Saucer Investigators'.

"The Flying Saucer Investigators" is a book of history. It's about the people involved in the mystery of the flying saucers, mostly the investigators, but also the witnesses, some of whom were profoundly affected. The period covered is what has been called "The Golden Age of Flying Saucers," which begins in 1947, after the sighting that year by businessman pilot Kenneth Arnold, and ends in 1969, with the termination of the U.S. Air Force's investigation, which existed for most of its duration as "Project Blue Book."The investigators ranged from kids with saucer clubs to serious-minded individuals with connections in government. There were military personnel assigned to take flying saucer reports and follow up on them, and the U.S. Congress was moved to hear arguments for a federally funded study of flying saucers on two occasions. The history of this "Golden Age" is presented using newsletters, magazines, case files, official documents, newspaper articles, film footage, and archived recordings from television and radio. Some of the cases the investigators looked into are presented using nothing but the facts as they were recorded, without speculation or sensationalism, and even the die-hard skeptic may be left wondering by many of them.

This week I am talking to Stephen Bassett about the Paradigm Research Group.

PRG was established in July of 1996 by Stephen Bassett, a political activist and consultant, to advocate in all ways possible for an end to a government imposed truth embargo of the facts surrounding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race – Disclosure.

Stephen Bassett is a political activist. He made history in 1996 when he registered to lobby the U.S. Government regarding its policy of withholding from the American people the truth of an extraterrestrial presence engaging the Human Race. It was the first such registration and immediately caught the attention of the Washington Post.

Over the past 25 years Bassett has helped shape the language and chart the course for a major political movement. He has lectured around the world and given over 1200 radio and television interviews about the implications of “Disclosure” – the formal confirmation by heads of state of an extraterrestrial presence. His advocacy work has been extensively covered by news media such as CNN, Fox News, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and over 500 articles including Washington Post, New York Times, New York Magazine, The Atlantic, Washington Times, The Hill, Roll Call and Politico.
From 2004 to 2010 Bassett produced six “exopolitical” conferences in the Washington metro area, each accompanied by press events at the National Press Club. About the Author: Hello, my name is Brian Allan and I was born in early March 1944, which makes me a Pisces, and I have had an abiding interest in paranormal and occult phenomena in all their varied forms for as long as I can remember. Although I have experienced strange and unusual encounters from a very early age, I had initially confined my interest in the subject to a passive role involving studying the subject via books etc, and it is only in the past thirty years or so that I actually became involved in a 'hands on' basis.

During this relatively short period of time I have been privileged to meet some genuinely fascinating and spiritual people and witness at first hand some truly wondrous sights. Many people have asked if I have ever encountered anything truly paranormal, like have I ever seen a UFO, or have I ever seen a ghost, the answer to both these questions is 'yes', I have, and in the case of ghosts more than once. In the course of my investigations, initially with Strange Phenomena Investigations (SPI), and latterly with Paranormal Encounters Group (PEG) a group which is co-run with my wife, Ann, I have investigated hauntings, poltergeist infestations, possessions, UFO encounters and sightings, claims of alien abduction, in fact the entire spectrum of events that take place across the psychic battlefield, and on occasion it is indeed a battlefield. In almost all of these investigations, what the people involved experienced was, to them at least, absolutely real and in no case did any of them lie about what they encountered, indeed some of them were absolutely terrified and that is understandable. Happily, in almost all of these instances I am delighted to say that at the very least we were able to bring a measure of help and relief to those affected, and fortunately were able to resolve the problems.

In addition to this, while involved with these cases I have been privileged to work and associate with some of the most talented, sensitive and gifted people it is possible to meet. They are the incredibly sensitive individuals who regularly bridge the narrow divide between the normal and the paranormal; they are the mediums and psychics without whom much of what I have seen and done would not be possible. As a result of these events and encounters I have reached certain conclusions based, not on ideas derived from other people's accounts but, instead, from hard-won first hand experience. It is these experiences that have allowed me to draw some conclusions that do not meet with the approval of, what shall I call them, hard core 'enthusiasts', particularly in the field of Ufology, who can see no further than their own, narrow, blinkered paradigm. Indeed it is something of a contradiction to note that, given the very nature of the phenomenon, those who should be the most receptive to different viewpoints are frequently the most narrow minded, dogmatic and defensive. The conclusions I have reached are varied and what follows is not by any means an exhaustive list. I say this because, in my opinion it does not have to be because a powerful common thread joins almost all of the conclusions.

This week I'm talking to Paul Hamden and Syann about the book 'A Primer Of The Zeta Race'.

We deal with four races, but my main contact is from the Zeta Reticuli star system. I have had a physical visit via a craft from the Zeta being who was accompanied by a companion of the same race.
We were not able to speak to each other then, as this initial meeting took place at a distance of around fifty meters. I wondered for a time why there was no closer contact, but now I realize the craft was emitting a frequency and I would have sustained burns if I had gone too near. At this encounter I had three friends with me, three human witnesses who saw the two beings as well.
We have encountered energetic beings from other races who have a physical form and live in our galaxy, as well as some non-corporeal beings. We deal primarily with four races who introduced themselves using our language as Zeta, Anunnaki, Sirius, and Pleiadian. The main guide, a Zeta, is in physical form and it does occasionally connect to me telepathically under the right conditions.
After many years of development, we have been able to connect successfully to the races of beings and, via a controlled trance-like state, they have performed the functions of discussion, healing, and manipulation of physical electrical items.

​Paul and Syann are both life-long contactees of the Zeta race and have clear conscious recall of their contact with the beings that they work with. They are both deep trance mediums working with Spirit guides to assist others.

Pauls earliest memories of being visited by the Zetas are from when he was 18 months old. In 1978, he and three friends witnessed what is now referred to as a ‘tic tac’ craft no more than ten meters away. In 2013 in New South Wales, Paul arranged for a craft to come – it physically landed with 20 people present; the beings came out of the craft and walked around the 20 people.

Syann’s earliest memories of contact with the Zeta are from 4yrs old where she was introduced to small boy of a similar age. She met the same boy on board a craft several years later – this boy was Paul. Both she and Paul have the same shared memory of time onboard craft together, as well as many other shared and separate experiences on craft and being with the Zetas.

Paul’s relationship with the Zetas entered into a conscious two-way interactive training process some 25 years ago which has resulted in the facilitation of many medically evidenced healings by the Zeta’s of people with a variety of physical injuries, diseases and conditions. Syann has been undergoing this training for the last 15 years and is in the early stages of the same process and also works with the Zetas to create energy embedded art to act as a connection tool; for some, this energy is very tangible. Paul and Syann have regular visitation by the Zeta’s to their home, including craft visits which are experienced by others, photographed and recorded.

This week I am talking to Grant Cameron about his book 'UFO Sky Pilots: Pilots of Peace and Oneness'.

In 2013, an elderly lady approached me, claiming she had flown a flying saucer. After 38 years of UFO research, I found this story compelling. At first, I thought the story was a little unbelievable, but I understood that the witness was of sound mind and had an amazing story to tell.
Since that incident, more than 50 witnesses have told me the exact same details. One account is a story. Two accounts are evidence. Fifty accounts require an investigation. Why would they let these people fly the craft, and how can someone fly a ship that might have technology 1000 years or more advanced than ours?

Kathleen Marden is a researcher, author, on camera expert, conference presenter, experiencer advocate, hypnosis practitioner and support group facilitator. This week I'm talking to Steve Aspin about his book 'Out of Time: The Intergenerational Abduction Program Explored'.

In Out of Time, author Steve Aspin attempts to write a crossover work about the enduring worldwide reports of alien abduction. It is intended for both those familiar with the historic published case material and the curious reader unfamiliar with the decades of serious research on this superficially improbable phenomenon.

He details his lifelong ET contact experiences and the relationships he built with leading researchers during his years of investigating this phenomenon. He has at all times attempted to approach the subject with critical thoroughness and intellectual rigor.

From stumbling upon a cattle mutilation in Ireland in 1970 to witnessing a UFO after a period of missing time at the age of 16 near Chester in 1972, Steve relates a lifetime of anomalous experiences in his new book. Steve then details several years of investigation into the subject and how what he has learned has shaped his thoughts on what is happening to perhaps millions of people worldwide. Peter Robbins was born in Queens New York and studied art, design, and theater at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Breakthrough Research Reveals the Earliest Evidence of US Government’s UFO Recovery. Hard evidence has existed since 1945 for the actual recovery of unidentified flying craft in the United States, according to this research book, "TRINITY: The Best-Kept Secret" written by two seasoned analysts of the global patterns behind the UFO phenomenon.

This is the second edition of this book which includes an additional witness' story. Italian investigative journalist Paola Leopizzi Harris and French-born information scientist Dr. Jacques F. Vallée have teamed up to uncover the details of a New Mexico crash in 1945, fully two years before the well-known incident at Roswell and the famous sighting by pilot Kenneth Arnold in 1947. Over several site investigation surveys Harris and Vallée reconstructed the historic observations by five witnesses, three of whom are still living, who described to them the circumstances of the crash, with details of the recovery of a nearly-intact flying vehicle and its occupants by an Army detachment. Combining their long experience in field research around the world, the authors have documented the step-by-step efforts by the military to remove the object, an avocado-shaped craft weighing several tons, from the property where it crash-landed during a storm.

Surprisingly, the literature of the field only includes a few passing mentions about the case, and only one (foreign) TV documentary has mentioned it, but the correlation between the crash of the extraordinary object and the explosion of the first atom bomb at White Sands, less than 20 miles away, has been missed. Harris and Vallée suggest that the correlation is significant for physical, geographic and biological reasons, quite apart from the obvious strategic implications. The witnesses were able to observe not only the actual crash of the object on their property but every step of the military efforts to lift it and take it away. Fearing retaliation, they remained silent for some 60 years about what they had seen and done over those nine days at the site while the recovery was proceeding. When placed in the context of the history of chemical and physical analysis of retrieved UFO debris--an area where Harris and Vallée have long collaborated—the devices observed by the witnesses raise a number of very important scientific questions.

Paola Leopizzi Harris was born in Rome in a family of Italian diplomats. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and French from Rhode Island College (1967) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado (1980). Her Master’s Degree in Education is from Leslie College in Boston, Massachusetts (1992). She served as the Principal for The American Overseas School of Rome in 1994 -1995 and taught Ancient History, photo journalism and English there until she returned to the United States in 2007 to pursue her interests in investigative reporting in the field of unidentified phenomena research.

As a widely published, free-lance writer with a strong audience in Europe, Paola has studied unidentified aerial phenomena since 1979 and is on personal terms with leading researchers in the field. From 1980-1986 Dr. J. Allen Hynek entrusted her with his UFO investigations outside the United States. She has published interviews of many military witnesses concerning their experiences. In particular, in 1997, Ms. Harris interviewed Colonel Philip Corso in New Mexico and became his editor and confidante. She was instrumental in having his book, The Day After Roswell, for which she wrote the preface, translated into Italian. She also wrote the Italian Preface for Apollo14 Astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell’s book The Way of the Explorer.

Paola returned to New Mexico in the summer of 2003 for the American debut of her book: Connecting the Dots; Making Sense of the UFO Phenomena (Authorhouse). Her second book, entitled: Exopolitics—All of the Above details possible conclusions to the UFO enigma. One of Paola’s most recently published book: Exopolitics--Stargate to a New Reality, contains 23 interviews with international expert witnesses. She just wrote a bestseller with Jacques Vallee on the 1945 San Antonio crash named Trinity. It has been translated into Italian and Spanish.

Other books by Ms. Harris have been translated into Japanese, Spanish and French, while her interview of Canadian former minister of defense Paul Hellyer has been translated into six languages and is available as a Google video.

Paola has lectured all through Europe about the importance of making Ufology a serious scientific study. Her non-profit association, Starworksusa, LLC, brings American speakers to Italy and promotes disclosure and international dialogue.

This week I am talking to Lisa O'Hara about her book 'Abducted and Furious How I Fought Back and How You Can Too A True Story'.

The reasons I wrote this book are three fold. First, to write about myexperiences, second to raise awareness, and third, to help anyone that hasbeen abducted by ETs or the military. I wanted to be able to share the information from my spirit guides on how to fight back against being abducted to as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. As more and more people awaken to the truth, they will need resources. We need more people to speakout, but we also need tools to fight back. Once I found tools, used them and they worked, I knew that I could not keep them to myself. I had to find my people and share the tools. Sounds easy, but it is difficult in a world where no one talksabout being abducted by ETs.

When I discovered in 2017 that I was being abducted by Grays every single night, I freaked out. My world was turned upside down and I felt scared to death and unsafe. It made me question the bucolic feeling of Earth. There is a safety that we all feel being here. Nothing is perfect, but we can often feel relatively safe. We feel we can pin down the fears and see them—robbers, criminals, etc. But, when we know something is happening to us that we don’t understand, or that we can’t see or remember—what a helpless feeling! Those of us in this position know well how they felt when they first found out. When those feelings of fear wore off, I felt outraged and furious. I was so angry that they had the nerve to take me, it served as a catalyst for my journey to figure out how to stop it. I wrote this book to help and inform as many abductees as possible who are having negative experiences, whether by ETs or military abductors. I have not had any success in finding people like me with negative ET experiences. Here is my story, the tools I use, and the procedures I use. Let’s unleash our fury on all abductors, ET and military.

This week I am talking to Preston Dennett and Dolly Safran about their book 'Symmetry A True UFO Adventure'.

In January 1973, fourteen-year-old Dolly Safran gazed out the window of her home near the Florida Everglades. Without warning, a UFO dropped from the sky and hovered in her backyard. To her shock, Dolly could see thin, gray-skinned figures with large dark eyes staring back at her. Frightened, she dived under her bed to hide. At that moment, her bedroom filled with a blazing blue light. The next thing she knew, morning had arrived. She was lying on the floor wearing somebody else’s pajamas. She had been taken, again. She was asked if she would like to work with them and learn from them, and what she would like to learn? Amazed by the opportunity, Dolly chose to learn how to pilot the craft. The ETs agreed.

So began Dolly’s lifelong experiences with the extraterrestrials. She recalled all of her earlier childhood experiences and finally understood what had been happening to her. She remembered being taken to another planet where she and other children were taught by the grays about a wide variety of subjects: science, history, philosophy, spirituality and more. More encounters followed. Soon her lessons focused on how to pilot the craft, and before long, she was placed in the pilot seat allowed to fly the UFO herself.

As Dolly grew into adulthood, her relationship with the grays deepened. She was visited on a weekly basis, more than a hundred times each year. This week I'm talking to Graeme Rendall about his book 'Dawn Of The Flying Saucers: Aerial UFO Encounters & Official Investigations 1946-1949'.

On 24th June 1947, a private pilot by the name of Kenneth Arnold entered the history books when he reported seeing a line of nine strange fast-moving objects near Mount Rainier in Washington State. His sighting - and the twisting of his description of the objects' movement through the air into the phrase "flying saucer" - sparked off a phenomenon which continues to baffle, intrigue and inspire millions of people seventy-five years later. The UFO subject remains unsolved even now, with new reports of civilian and military encounters emerging in the 2020s.
Arnold's sighting was not the first in 1947, but the press attention it received and the subsequent reports of flying discs and other mysterious objects by airliner crews and military pilots stirred the US Army Air Force into action. By the end of the year, the newly-created US Air Force had established its first official UFO investigation program, Project Sign, charged with collecting sightings reports and analysing them. Sign would give way to a similar program, Grudge, in 1949.
Whilst there are several infamous UFO sightings from the 1946-1949 period in addition to Kenneth Arnold's, many of the aerial encounters that took place during this time are much less well-known. This new work charts these events, including aircrew testimony and official evaluations. Intertwined around these sightings are the stories of the USAF investigation programs Sign and Grudge, which are fascinating in themselves.
If you consider yourself knowledgeable about the UFO subject, this book should still hold information that you've never come across before. For those readers who have come to Ufology after the ground-breaking events of December 2017, when three infamous US Navy FLIR videos showing mysterious craft were publicly released, this work will give you an incredible insight into the early years of the modern-day UFO phenomenon, setting the present day into context. If you don't necessarily believe in this sort of thing, then the story of how something gripped a nation is interesting in itself. Finally, if you are sitting on the fence in terms of what you believe about UFOs, this book offers a relatively unbiased look at what transpired between 1946 and 1949. The author is not trying to tell you that men from Mars were invading the Earth, or aliens from Zeta Reticuli. However, something was going on back then - and continues to even now, seventy-odd years later.

Randall Fitzgerald’s ten books (and more than 50 books as a ghostwriter) have been pioneering explorations of a wide variety of topics, reflecting his diverse interests and an insatiable curiosity cultivated by 35 years as a newspaper and magazine journalist. For two decades he was a Roving Editor for Reader’s Digest and also wrote investigative feature articles for The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.

He began his journalism career at 19, as a general assignment reporter for The Tyler Morning Telegraph, in Tyler, Texas. While in journalism school at the University of Texas at Austin, he worked as a political reporter in the state capitol bureau of The Houston Post and spent a semester as a Congressional Fellow in Washington, D.C., working as press secretary to a U.S. Congressman. In August 1974, the week that Richard Nixon resigned as President, he became an investigative reporter for newspaper syndicated columnist Jack Anderson, in Washington, D.C.

He received a grant from the Fund for Investigative Journalism in 1975 to investigate the Mafia and CIA connections of the publisher of The National Enquirer by going undercover as a reporter for the tabloid. This week I'm talking to Mieke and Paul Benton about their book 'My Life is a Mystery'.

This week I'm talking to Chris Rutkowski about his book 'Canada's UFOs: Declassified'.

This week I'm talking to Philip Mantle about his new book 'UFO Landings UK'.

British UFO researcher Philip Mantle began his active involvement in ufology in 1980 when he joined the newly formed Yorkshire UFO Society. One of the first UFO cases that he investigated was that of a landing case in the West Yorkshire town of Normanton in England. This incident took place only a few miles from where he lived. The case in question was to do two things, the first was to confirm that he was not wasting his time investigating this phenomenon, and the second was to give him a lifelong interest in both UFOs and in particular UFO landing cases.This book looks at UFO landing cases in the UK only (with the addition of the Republic of Ireland) beginning long before the modern era of UFOs began in 1947 right the way through to today. Case histories are separated into decades and come complete with photographs, documents, artwork and much more. The case histories featured in this book are looked at for their ‘high strangeness’ value.

The late Dr. J. Allen Hynek, the man who invented the phrase ‘close encounters’ suggested long ago that an area of research to concentrate on were the cases which were up close and personal, in others words UFO landing accounts. Dr. Hynek argued that the greater the degree of high strangeness the less likely it was that the UFO case in question could be explained away in conventional terms. As UFO researchers we know that most UFO sightings reported have a conventional explanation and at the end of the day there remains only a few that seem to remain ‘unidentified’. The author argues that the closer the witnesses are to these UFO landings then the less likely they are to have a rational explanation. The high strangeness factor increases in a number of ways, the length of time the UFO is in view, how close the witness was to it, more than one witness being involved and so on.

The case histories featured in this book come from some of the authors own investigations along with other UFO researchers, UFO groups, publications and of course UFO books. At no point in this book does the author argue that any one specific theory is better placed to explain these cases than any other. The readers are left to make up their own mind in this respect. Instead, and in keeping with the theme of the book the author has obtained comments from a significant number of his colleagues around the UK and the Republic of Ireland. A wide variety of opinions on the nature and origin of UFO landing accounts are featured in full and unedited providing a fascinating outlook from the British UFO research community. This week I'm talking to Terry Lovelace about his book 'Incident at Devils Den'.

This is my true story. Written by Terry Lovelace, a 64-year-old lawyer and former assistant attorney general. In 2012 a routine X-ray of my leg found an anomalous bit of metal the size of a fingernail with two tiny wires attached. What followed were horrific nightmares, spontaneous recall and intrusive thoughts surrounding a 1977 camping trip I took with a friend to Devils Den State Park in Northern Arkansas. For fear of losing my job and my standing in the legal community, I've kept this secret for 40 years. But the 2012 discovery of this object, one and one-half inches deep in my thigh, initiated a flood of nightmares I could not control.

My poor health and the horrific memories were the catalysts to come forward and finally disclose what happened back in 1977. My friend and I were on a two-day camping trip to photograph eagles and wildlife. Rather than stay in the campground we chose to drive deep into an isolated area and set-up our camp on a high plateau that offered a scenic view of the wilderness. Late in the evening of our first night in camp, a group of three very bright stars in the western sky caught our attention. Arranged in a triangle configuration we speculated as to what it could be? We eliminated aircraft lights due to the triangle configuration. Then it moved. The three stars rotated as if on an axis and slowly ascended upward. As it rose the three points of light spread apart, each equidistant to the others. The stars grew larger and brighter.

As the triangle passed over stars they would blink-out for a moment and then blink-back again as it moved over them. The area inside the triangle was black, darker than the night sky. As the points expanded they were eventually devouring entire fields of stars as it traveled higher and moved closer to our camp. It eventually halted directly over us. It was huge. A third of the sky was covered by this black triangle overhead without a single star in between the three points. It was as if someone had cut an enormous triangle out of a sky filled with a billion stars. It descended until it was about thirty feet over the floor of the meadow. The size of the object was unbelievable. Each side of the triangle was a city block in length. I estimated its height at fifty feet or more. The size of a five-story office building, it sat motionless above the floor of the meadow. What followed was a horrific abduction experience. We both suffered badly from burns and dehydration and were hospitalized for two nights.

I was interviewed by special agents from the USAF Security Police's "OSI" or Office of Special Investigations. They mistakenly believed I had photographed the object and I was viciously interrogated by two of their special agents. They demanded my film. My home and car were searched by consent and I was hypnotized to assist my recall. It was a nightmare that left my wife and me sour on the whole UFO and the allegations surrounding our experience. I never intended to tell anyone. But the events of 2012 opened a door to memories about the abduction experience I had long forgotten and had no desire to even remember. In 2016 and in poor health I decided it was the right time to disclose everything I knew and everything we experienced. The piece of metal in my leg was the genesis of this story. There is so much more that happened.

Terry Lovelace is a six year veteran of the USAF where he served as a medic and EMT from 1973 to 1979. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with honors from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed a law degree from Western Michigan and passed the Michigan State Bar Examination. He was also admitted to the bar in Vermont and the US Territory of American Samoa. His legal career began in private practice until his appointment as an assistant attorney general for the U.S. Territory of American Samoa, he also served as State’s Attorney for Vermont Board of Medical Practice until his 2012 retirement.

He and a friend were abducted from Devils Den State Park in NW Arkansas in June 1977 while remote camping. They were both on active duty at the time. What followed were 40+ years of nightmares, phobias, and PTSD-like issues which continue to this day.

This week I'm talking to Mike Clelland about UFOs, synchronicites, owls and high strangeness.

Mike Clelland's 2015 book, The Messengers, was met with high praise. In it he explores the mysterious connection between owls, synchronicities, and UFO abduction. The Owls
Owls seem to a play a shadowy role in the UFO contact experience. Like sleeping under the stars on a desert night, this work has been an act of surrendering.

Dr. Robert E. Farrell received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University, his MBA from Western New England College and his Doctor of Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. This week I am talking to Dr. Irena Scott about her book 'Beyond Pascagoula: The Rest of the Amazing Story'.

What is best known about the UFO events of October 1973 is the Pascagoula abduction account of Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker. It began as an extremely credible report, but unlike many reports, intensive research has uncovered a number of additional reports of UFO sightings in the area at around the same time. This number continues to grow and more are given here. This has added to its credibility and because of this, it has been termed the best-documented alien abduction account on record.
But much is not known about many elements associated with this event. It had numerous unique aspects, such as that the instruments the beings appeared to use to scan the men resembled such modern devices as the computerized axial tomography (CAT) scan. Such unique factors are compared to additional reports from the same time.
This may be the first report of a new type of abduction event; there may have been a second abduction, by the same object at around the same time as Parker and Hickson’s. Abductions appear to happen as single events, but this may have been extremely different and the first reported. And there may have even been several abduction attempts on the same night as the Pascagoula abduction.
In addition much happened at the same time as the Pascagoula abduction, such as reports of close UFO encounters, a thunderous boom, and similar episodes that swarmed in to bewildered operators in many states across the USA. These events ushered in a massive UFO wave, possibly the largest wave ever experienced and possibly the last wave.
The strange boom was no ordinary sound; it was one that, with the exception of the Krakatoa volcanic eruption of 1883, could be the most widespread audible sound ever recorded. It did not happen in some out of the way place; it happened in the nation’s vital centers. It was felt in Washington DC, over areas of the nation’s highest population density, its heartland, and several vital cities.
This sound was analyzed according to the latest NASA research on sounds. The boom was quite unnatural and remarkable in many ways. The width of the sound would mean that the object causing it would be many miles high, in outer space, and in a location where there should be no overpressure. However, there was a large area of overpressure such that it broke windows in a swath over at least three states and it appeared able to cause ground movement over a large area. It appeared to defy the laws of physics. Unlike most UFO associated phenomena where there is no hard scientific proof, this sound was recorded on two seismographs, which may provide scientific proof of the existence of anomalous UFO phenomena associated events.

Dr. Irena Scott received her PhD from the University of Missouri in physiology, did post-doctoral research at Cornell University, has been an Assistant Professor at St. Bonaventure University, and has done research and teaching at The Ohio State University, the University of Missouri, the University of Nevada, and at Battelle Memorial Institute. She worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Aerospace Center in satellite photography, was a volunteer astronomer at the Ohio State University Radio Observatory, and has taken flying lessons. Her publications include books, and works in scientific journals, magazines, newspapers, and she was a correspondent for Popular Mechanics magazine. She served on the MUFON Board of Directors (1993 to 2000), is a MUFON consultant in physiology and astronomy and a field investigator. She co-edited eight symposium proceedings, has been a State Section Director for Ohio MUFON, was a founding member of the Mid-Ohio Research Associates (MORA) and its journal editor, and has published UFO material in books and journals (including scientific journals).

This week I'm talking to Graeme Rendall about his book 'UFOs Before Roswell: European Foo-Fighters 1940-1945'.

During the final six months of World War Two, a strange phenomenon known to US Army Air Force night-fighter squadrons as the “Foo Fighters” was witnessed by crews operating over western Germany. Mysterious lights were frequently reported, following their aircraft or sitting off their wingtips. These lights did not appear to show any hostile intent, although they often frightened aircrew, who thought they may have been German secret weapons. For many years, it has been believed that these mysterious wartime sightings started in November 1944.

However, this is simply accepted wisdom, based on a false premise published in a December 1945 magazine article and then repeated in various books dealing with UFOs published since the 1950s.

The true story of the “Foo Fighters” goes back much earlier than 1944, involving RAF aircrew operating over Germany and Italy. The nicknames for what they encountered were different, but the phenomenon they witnessed was almost certainly the same. Mysterious lights, "rockets" and "jets" were reported on a regular basis, with many of these events being listed in official records. These cases, plus others which may not have been reported to the military authorities at the time, are examined closely in this book.

Various explanations have been suggested to explain the “Foo Fighters” and these are looked at in great detail. In the 1950s, several German “designers” came forward to claim that they had been personally involved with secret Nazi projects that they believed were the source of wartime sightings - and in some cases, post-war ones too. Their claims will also be studied in depth.

The ”Foo Fighters” are a largely forgotten aspect of the UFO subject in the 20th Century, and this book is intended to address that lack of coverage. It also provides a wealth of information and detail on wartime German secret weapons programmes and bombing raids, so should appeal to readers with an interest in World War Two aviation who are looking for stories with a difference.

The foreword to this book has been written by Sean Cahill, one of the witnesses involved in the infamous November 2004 US Navy "Tic Tac" case. I am most grateful to Sean for his contribution to my work.

I have been interested in aviation for as long as I can remember. Starting off with model kits and books, I moved onto writing about aircraft for a local magazine in my early twenties, and then travelled around Siberia in the summer of 1992 looking for interesting Russian aeroplanes to photograph.

I published my first book, "To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992", in 2021. "UFOs Before Roswell: European Foo-Fighters 1940-1945" was also released in August 2021 to much acclaim. There are some fascinating cases in this book that are being shared publicly for the first time. A third book dealing with the history of RAF Morpeth, a wartime aerodrome near where I live in Northumberland, England, was published in November 2021, and I have also released two volumes dealing with local aviation history in the county.

Historic UFO Case. This week I am talking to Kevin Randle about his book 'Levelland'.

On November 2, 1957, a series of sightings of a glowing, egg-shaped object was seen around the West Texas town of Levelland, USA. Multiple witnesses at multiple locations reported their cars stalled at the close approach of the UFO. Over a two-hour period, the object terrorized the witnesses. The Hockley County Sheriff, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and even officers from Reese Air Force Base saw the UFO. A comprehensive investigation has, for the first time, uncovered additional witnesses and reveals the Air Force clandestine attempts to resolve the case without revealing the true nature of the events.

The Levelland sightings are not the only time that reports of stalled cars and other interaction with the environment was reported. In France and South America, in 1954, similar reports were made, many of them including descriptions of creatures from the UFOs.

Levelland is the first book to examine this aspect of the UFO phenomenon in depth and provide detailed eye witness testimony from law enforcement officers along with an examination of the once classified, official investigation. The true story of the Levelland UFO is revealed and it will change minds.
