The Seahawks are 8-7 and currently have the 7th seed in the NFC as a wild card for the playoffs. The offense struggled to find any rhythm, with the running game nowhere to be found. Geno Smith led two scoring drives in the 4th quarter with a beautiful pass to DK Metcalf in the corner of the end zone and another to Parkinson late in the 4th to take the lead. The Seahawks defense continues to play well, getting a total of 6 sacks, making it 45 sacks on the season, leading the NFC. There are two games remaining, and the Seahawks need to be 1-0 in each one.
