ok I think this is really interesting Having worked with games for many years and Trademark and copyright at Disney.
I heard rumors about Monster trying to trademark Pokemon lol or suing Nintendo and they did Sucefully trademark block Ubisoft on their game Immortals: Fenyx Rising, which was originally called Gods and Monsters.
This I already knew about but this is crazy this article shows how they have gone after Nintendo for years, and Capcom.
LIke they been trying to trademark troll Nintendo already back at Pokemon X and Y and then kept doing it for sequals of the Pokemon Franchise such as Sun and Moon etc.
its obviously just ridecklous no one in their right mind think that they produce the same thing
like when Activsion Blizzard / King sued game companies for the use of word SAGA at least those where in the same industry.
Monster Sueing for the word MONSTER when they dont even produce games is just a joke, at best they can say its interfere with their e-sport branding and sponsoring
That being said the whole thing just like with word Saga, the word Monster is a very common word, its silly an unethical anyone can try and sue or trademark trolling as its called for a very common word.
