A 25 year old woman named pushpanjali kanhar from orissa, india gave birth to two boys that were fused at the head. It’s an extremely rare condition of craniopagus twins as they have two separate brains but are connected at the cranium.
Poverty stricken they hope to find a way to separate them.
After two years of searching for a doctor and treatment that was affordable for them, they struggled deeply but managed to get one in Dehli.
Over the course of 45 hours of surgery over two months, the twins were successfully separated folloowed by 6 months to fully recover.
2 years later, one of then suddenly developed septicemia or blood poisoning by bacteria and sadly passed away.
