Workers removed letters from the decade-old Twitter headquarters sign above San Francisco’s Market Street and replaced them with a giant ‘X’ logo on the roof of the building.
According to reports, the familiar Twitter letting started coming down at the company’s San Francisco headquarters on Monday but was temporarily halted by police due to safety concerns.
After 17 years with an iconic blue bird logo that came to symbolise the broadcasting of ideas to the world, billionaire Elon Musk renamed Twitter as X and unveiled a new logo, marking a focus on building an “everything app.”
