Roblox is coming to the quest 2 and since my last video where I focused on the games you can play. You all have been asking questions like. Is ROBLOX confirmed to be coming to the quest 2? Who has confirmed it? when is ROBLOX VR RELEASING on the quest 2? and how can i play ROBLOX with no PC and no Wires? So because I like to answer your questions I have compiled all the information into this video so you don't have to waste your time looking elsewhere. So is Roblox confirmed to be coming to the quest 2 and if so, who confirmed it? Well Roblox has been supporting VR for quite a long time now, but only if you have a VR ready PC and compatible headset. and because not everybody has a VR ready PC having Roblox running natively on the quest is the thing everybody is hoping for and we got a bit of hope About a year ago when the CEO said Roblox made perfect sense as a future platform. For an entire year we heard nothing until 1 month ago we got this update, an official Roblox twitter account sharing that it will be coming to another device soon with the Oculus Logo - can we all just appreciate they used the Oculus Logo and not the meta one? this just doesn't look right. :D then i did a little digging and found this on the developer forum where somebody asks about updates on Roblox vr development and the answer is quite revealing. it says
We are not quite ready yet to share the next update. But if you look at the history we release changes pretty regularly. I can tell you the vr team has been growing and hard at work.
So its clear to see that Roblox is definitely confirmed for the Quest 2 and that it has been confirmed by the Roblox CEO the bloxy news twitter page and by Roblox staff in the developer forum. So this leads to one more question and I think this has already been answered partially aswell. When Will Roblox be released on the quest 2? There is currently no confirmed release date for it but if you see a CARD on the top right corner that means that there is a new update to this story so click it now if its there. I do think that Looking at the update from the developer forum, it mentions that updates come pretty regularly so i believe this leads me to believe that an update is imminent and we could see Roblox on the quest in the coming weeks, however that is just speculation on my part and until it does actually release on the quest 2 playing Roblox without a PC and without a wire just isnt possible.
