Tesla has released their Q3 2023 10-Q with detailed financial tables and notes, and I share a few of my hot takes in this video- notably regarding the new borrowing Tesla is doing at more than 6% interest.
I'm not super happy about them paying net interest of ~1% (after investing the cash in US treasuries that probably yield a little over 5%) and was more excited when Tesla was paying down debt early and keeping it down.
I suppose you could view that net 1% interest expense as a small price to pay for "insurance" (against a lot of lease defaults from people who leased Teslas and may not be able to make all of their payments.)
