The girls are back and are wrapping up Season 1 with a recap of their last few weeks. Sonja's trip to Butte, Blakely's work updates, and both of them talk about the shows they've been watching including Everything Now, Love is Blind & Golden Bachelor. They talked about their dinner with their pals from Birdie2Bogey and how they already booked a place to stay for the 2nd Annual Babes GDGT!
They talked about Lexi Thompson's amazing performance at the Shriners Children's Open, and Minjee Lee and her brother Min Woo Lee winning within the same week! They also gave an update for the PGA/LPGA tournament because Jessica Korda has backed out of the Grant Thornton Invitational because of her pregnancy, and Lexi Thompson is taking her place on a team with Rickie Fowler!

The girls did a special Sunday episode this week to talk about the Ryder Cup! They start by breaking down their weeks, Blakely has a gripe with children's movies in the theatre, and Sonja talks about her love for Subway.
They break down everything in the Ryder cup including Europe's big win, the drama with Rory & Patrick Cantlay and John Rahm and Brooks, sockless fashion, Viktor being amazing, and Pat hat gate.
Blakely talks about the Asian games where Sungjae Im and Si Woo Kim represented team South Korea and won, and what that means for their futures. Aditi Ashok also made history at the tournament being the first woman from India to win a medal in golf at the games.
Sonja expresses her excitement over all of the Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift hype, and the girls talk about their plans for Thanksgiving. Sonja recapps the first episode of the Golden bachelor and Blakely talks about her latest Audiobook and why she can't listen to music when she works!

The girls start the episode out recapping their weeks including Blakely's drummer's arms, and a full on inspirational TED talk. They also give their thoughts on all things Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce. They recapped their last tournament of the year, the Fall Finale, and talked about Mataya Hampson who is a 15 year old junior girls golfer from Calgary who bombed some long drives for us at the Mickelson National Ladies member guest that we played in.
They then get right into recapping the Solheim Cup starting with their feet tans and yellow dresses, and ending with the exciting yet anticlimactic ending. Lexi Thompson received some heat after an interview, and Angel Yin showed off more of her hilarious personality. The Europeans kept the cup after the tournament ended in a tie, and the ladies will be flying back to Arkansas to play in the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
The PGA men just arrived in Rome for the Ryder Cup and now it will be up to team USA to at least tie the Europeans to keep the cup. Brooks is bringing his mullet and Bryson wishes he got an invite.

We start this episode talking all about our experience at the Barbie themed member-guest tournament we played in at Mickelson National Golf Club over the weekend.
Sonja talked all about her busy work week and the fun events they ran including a golf tournament in memory of one of the first Club Twirls followers, Laura, and Blakely talks about how she finally got her yellow door. We really get into it on this one. If you want to know where we've been the past 2 months, this is the episode for you!
Starting off with a content warning that we discuss pregnancy loss on this podcast. If you don't have the capacity to listen, and want to skip to golf talk, skip to the 25 minute mark.
Blakely and Sonja found out they were pregnant 1 week apart, and then found out they were both having miscarriages a week apart as well. They talk about their individual experiences and how they got through it together.
Blakely talks about her experience playing in the Magrath Ladies Scramble, and both the girls talk about playing at Kananaskis with their families. They also talk about their inaugural Classy Classic and their disappointing final week of Ladies league at their course.

This week Sonja recaps her weekend at the Whitefish 4th of July Tournament. From her Pit Vipers, to her 13 on hole 13, to dipping mugs in a BFP at the Bulldog, she leaves no detail uncovered. Blakely went to Bull Bustin, acted as a mechanic, took her kid to nerd camp, and recapped their ladies night last week with their big horse and buggy win.
Allisen Corpuz won the U.S. Women's Open at Pebble Beach, and Blakely spit some amazing fun facts about Michelle Wie, Nasa Hataoka, In Gee Chun, Jiyai Shin and Charley Hull.
Sepp Straka won the John Deere Classic, Mark Hubbard gave the finger to either his caddy or someone else (we will be doing a full investigation and keep you posted), and the big names in the PGA skipped out on the John Deere to head over to Europe to watch the Wimbledon and get ready for the Scottish Open! They also touched on the LIV drama between Brooks and Matt Wolffe, and Jay Monahan's health scare.

After taking a week off, the girls are back to fill you in on their happenings. Blakely and her brother won the coveted Country Hills Cup, and Sonja and her husband played in the same tournament and are still married! The second LPGA major of the year, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship happened, and Ruoning Yin was the champion, winning her first major and second event of the year! This weekend the LPGA players are rolling into back-to-back majors with the US Women's Open, at Pebble Beach. Michelle Wie and Annika Sörenstam will be playing, alongside a 14 year old. The Club Twirls Girls were riding a high after their first win at the Babes GDGT. Ashleigh Buhai took home her 2nd LPGA win at the Shoprite LPGA Classic, and it was her first win on US soil! Phillis Meti won the Ladies World Long Drive with a drive of 378 in the finals.

This week the girls recap their long weekends, Sonja was up in Edmonton with her in-laws and Blakely was stranded at home with her kids in the smoke. Blakely went golfing on Sunday and the girls talk about improving their course management, Sonja accuses her of having distance dysmorphia.
They get right into the talk of the weekend, the PGA championship. Brooks Koepka beat Viktor Hovland in the day's final grouping to win his 5th Major. The real talk of the weekend was Michael Block, the PGA pro who ended the weekend T15, and captured everyone's hearts while doing it. Our Club Twirls pool was a success and a huge shoutout to Lesley from Babes GDGT for putting together a prize pack for our winner!
The LPGA didn't play this week, but next week they will be in Las Vegas for the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play presented by MGM Rewards. Rose Zhang won back-to-back NCAA National Women's golf titles at Greyhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale.

This week the girls start the episode by recapping their Mother's Day weekends. Blakely had a mishap with the flowers she brought for her mom, they played in their first ladies' scramble tournament of the year, and are trying to rally the troops to play in the Magrath Ladies Scramble, and the Babes GDGT tournament in Scotch Creek BC.
The LPGA Founders Cup was this week and Jin Young Ko came back from being down by 4 to win it in a playoff over defending champion, Minjee Lee. The LPGA Drive On series released its 3rd episode where they recap the Chevron Championship and the girls learn about an LPGA romance.
Jason Day won his first event in 5 years at the AT&T Byron Nelson tournament, and this week the PGA players are gearing up for the second major of the year, the PGA Championship. This week the girls recapped their big night out to Golf Town for ladies' night
They get into the LPGA - Thailand took home the win at the International Crown which was a Match Play tournament in teams of 4. They also spill a little tea with Team England. Coming up is the LPGA Founders Tournament at the Upper Montclair Country Club in New Jersey. Gabi Ruffels also won another event on the Epson Tour!
On to the PGA where Wyndham Clark won the Wells Fargo Championship and Blakely talks about how distracting he was with his white pants. Next week is the AT&T Byron Nelson tournament, and Jordan Spieth had to withdraw due to a wrist injury. Blakely also ordered pizza on behalf of Justin Thomas.
Calgary local Stephen Ames won the latest Champions Tour event with his son on the bag, so that was a big win for all of us in Calgary.
They get right into their interview with Lesley McGlenen aka The Pipe Wench. She talks all about her history of golfing, and why she started Babes GDGT - a golf tournament at Talking Rock golf course. She goes into the format, the schedule for the weekend, the charity aspect of it, and as Blakely said 'The best prize at a golf tournament, ever!' The girls are back together and happier than ever now that the sun is shining and the golf courses are open. They talk about Blakely's neck injury, Sonja's trip home, NHL Playoffs, and the NFL draft.

This week is the first major for the Ladies of the LPGA - the Chevron Championship played at The Club at Carlton Woods in the Woodlands, Texas. This is the first year this tournament will not be played at Mission Hills with the winner jumping into Poppies Pond. The girls then recap the RBC Heritage Tournament at Harbour Town Golf Links where Matt Fitzpatrick bested Jordan Spieth in a playoff after 3 holes. He got a fancy new plaid jacket, and a casual $3.6 million.

Hello friends, Happy Masters Week! Blakely talks about her interesting trip to the dentist, and Sonja recaps her husband-free weekend full of Love Is Blind and Blizzards.
What an amazing week for Ladies' golf! The Augusta National Women's Amateur was incredible to watch - Rose Zhang and Jenny Bae went to a 2 hole playoff before Rose came out on top. The LPGA DIO Implant LA Open came down to the wire with Ruoning Yin and Georgia Hall, but Yin held on to win by 1 stroke leaving Georgia in the 2nd place spot for the 2nd tournament in a row.
Blakely was so happy to watch her boy Corey Conners put on his shiny new cowboy boots after winning the Valero Texas Open. Her only hope now is for him to get a green jacket to go with those boots!
We're only a few sleeps away from the Masters! The girls talk about driving up to Magnolia Lane, asking high school acquaintances for Sunday tickets, who they think from LIV will perform well, Blakely gives us an Augusta history lesson, Tiger and Bryson have a falling out, and Blakely and Sonja make a bet on if the winner will cry.

The girls are back, and have a lot to catch up on! They recap their trip to Scottsdale, each giving their top 3 moments of the trip, including lots of golf, margs, pickleball, and Naked and Afraid.
The girls recap the last 2 weeks of golf, starting with the LPGA (the Honda Classic in Thailand and the HSBC Womens Champions tournament in Singapore. They then switch to PGA and recapped the end of the Honda Classic, the Seminole Pro-member tourney, and the Arnold Palmer invitational. They also touch on the LIV tour and their very interesting team names.
Blakely ends the podcast with a golf story from Scottsdale, and shares her golf mantra; never give up, never surrender!

The girls had a lengthy list of talking points this week! The girls start out by recapping their weeks. They then give their thoughts on the Netflix show, Full Swing.
The LPGA is still on break for one more week, but some of the LPGA players dominated the Ladies European Tour event in Saudi. Lydia Ko and Aditi Ashok were at the top of the leaderboard, so we're excited to watch them next week in Thailand for the LPGA's 2nd event of the season.
The PGA had the Genisis Invitational at Riviera Country Club, and Jon Rahm came out on top with Max Homa fighting hard but falling just short. Tiger Woods packed around a Tampon, but then made a little girl's day by signing a glove for her, Rory McIlroy almost threw a club, and Sahith Theegala ended up in the top 10!
After this weekend, Jon Rahm is back in the World Number 1 spot after his 3rd win this calendar year!
Bernhard Langer won the Champions Tour tournament so he is now tied for the most Champions Tour wins. He also has a fantastic smile.

The girls are back, and Blakely kicked the podcast off by bringing up the podcast hitting the top 5 for golf podcasts in Canada on Apple Podcasts! Sonja recapped her weekend trip to Radium and her puzzling, and Blakely hosted a Superbowl party. The girls recapped the Rihanna Half-Time show and her "special guest," and Blakely's already excited for next season. Sonja is all caught up on 'Last of Us" and it's too scary for her. The girls get into golf and start with Maja Stark winning the European Tour. It was a big week for Canadian golfers as Stephan Ames won the Champions Tour event, and Nick Taylor came 2nd at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. The girls break down the highlights from the WMPO including Scottie Scheffler's back-to-back win which puts him ranked number 1 in the World Golf Rankings. They also chat about the 16th hole streaker, Rickie's hole-in-one, and Max Homa's club throw. Sonja also finds a way to bring up the Bachelor while talking about Justin Thomas. Blakely tells some stories from when she worked at a driving range, and her driving range date fail. The girls talk about the big week of golf coming up with the launch of the Netflix Show, and Tiger announcing he's playing in the Genesis Invitational, along with our guy Adam Scott. The girls share the very exciting news of their trip to Arizona at the end of February. Blakely takes us along her grief journey and her most recent show binge. On this week's episode, Blakely talks about her new tattoo and her experience at a unique concert over the weekend. Sonja hit up all the shopping hot spots and watched a scary show, and then a not-so-scary show. Well, maybe scary to Blakely.. They discussed what happened in the NFL and Blakely revealed her love of the Eagles QB. The girls give their Superbowl predictions. They hopped right into Golf talk, excited about the new LPGA YouTube show that will be released at the beginning of February. They talked about Max Homa and his big win, and the unique fan experience that he was involved in. This week's golf news was not without drama - the girls broke down purple-pants-gate, tee-gate and Blakely even gave a wonderful comparison of PGA/LIV Tour/World golf standings to, you guessed it, Gilmore Girls. (We'd actually be very surprised if you did guess that!) Sonja brought up some listener data from everyone who listened to the pod last week, and she also issued an apology for her harsh statement from the last episode. As always, they wrapped it up with the message to be present, and feel your feet on the ground. It's just you and your swing!
