We are joined by our friend, Jesse Burroughs, to discuss his running journey which includes running the Boston Marathon and JFK 50 Miler. We share stories and experiences from our recent taste of ultrarunning and the 50-mile distance.
Jesse stumbled into running after a childhood of soccer, cross-country, and watching his dad run marathons. During his first job after graduating from Auburn, Jesse found himself turning to running as an outlet from long, boring days. This new hobby quickly highlighted Jesse's running abilities and led him to shoot for a Boston Marathon qualifying time.
Jesse's joy, curiosity, and passion is contagious. We hope you enjoy the episode.
