新竹五指山，名列台灣小百岳，是著名的山峰, 從清代就被列為淡水廳八景之一。五指山有五座山峰，貎似五根手指頭，因而得名。最高峰中指峰，海拔1064公尺。從山腳下的竹林禪苑登山口起登，大約2個小時即可登頂。
Wuzhi Mountain (Five Fingers Mountain) in Hsinchu, listed as Top 100 Suburban Moutnains in Taiwan, is a famous mountain and has been listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Tamsui since the Qing Dynasty. Wuzhi Mountain has five peaks, shaped like five fingers, hence the name. The highest peak is the Middle Finger Peak, which is 1064 meters above sea level. It takes about 2 hours to climb to the Middle Finger Peak from the mountain trail entrance at Zhulin Zen Temple at the foot of the mountain.
