Succession won the top drama prize at the 75th Emmy awards during a star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles and almost swept the major acting categories. Kieran Culkin won best actor, Sarah Snook best actress, and Britain’s Matthew Macfadyen took home best supporting actor.

The Bear matched Succession’s six prizes. Jeremy Allen White won best comedy actor for his portrayal of a gifted chef who gives up his promising New York career to save the family business, while Ebon Moss-Bachrach won in the supporting category for playing his dysfunctional best friend. Ayo Edebiri was named best supporting actress for her role as an ambitious sous-chef.

Beef was another multiple winner, with five trophies. The show, which depicts a long-running feud that stems from a road rage incident, was named best-limited series, while its performers were also honoured. Steven Yeun was named best actor in a limited series and Ali Wong won the actress category.
