Why Did The Warriors Trade Jordan Poole?

Today we're going to be talking about the golden state warriors trading Jordan Poole to the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul. After a less than ideal season, nba fans were waiting to see how the warriors would handle Jordan Poole's $128M contract extension. They soon got their answer. They would end up trading him to the wizards along with draft picks in return for Chris Paul. A move which has since been met with questions, as they traded their young star for an aging injury prone player. And while it may seem like they made the deal with salary in mind, with Draymond Green due for an extension, Chris Paul's contract is just as bad if not worse. Leading to even more questions about the though process and the future of the franchise.
