ATC64: Review of The Brinkman Adventures: Season 3
We dive deep into The Brinkman Adventures 3rd season in this episode of the show. This series focusing on missionary stories just keeps getting better and better and we are really enjoying it. In addition to our review, you'll also find a newscast from our intrepid newsman, Roy, and some great feedback from Rob and Winter. And in the midst of all of that there will be talk of rethinking the "Top 3", aquaponics and tilapia fillets. It's another fun-filled episode of the Audio Theatre Central podcast!

Producer's Note: At around 27:25 in this episode, JD mentions an "African warrior" in reference to the story of Steve Saint. This is obviously incorrect and JD knows that this story is set in the Central American country of Ecuador; it was a simple slip of the tongue and/or brain. Please forgive the mistake.

ATC34: Review of At the Back Of The North Wind from FOTF Radio Theatre
Today JD, Roy and Andrew discuss and review At The Back Of The North Wind from Focus on the Family Radio Theatre. This is a fantastic audio drama adaptation of the classic novel by George MacDonald. We also share some feedback from Jerry Robbins at The Colonial Radio Theatre regarding our review of The Prince And The Pauper. And of course, Roy fills us in with a newscast.

NOTE: There is a bit of background noise in this episode which was due partly to an error on my part and partly to the fact that it's too hot in Arizona in the summer to record without the A/C running. I hope this doesn't detract from your enjoyment of the content. Thanks! -JD

Roy brings lots of news for the Top 3 on this episode. JD, Roy, & Andrew also introduce you to the Spirit Blade Productions' drama called Pilgrim's Progress: Similitude of a Dream, which is, of course, based on the John Bunyan classic. This is the first part in a series which will cover the entire story of Pilgrim's Progress with a bit of a sci-fi twist. We also interview Paeter Frandsen, the founder of Spirit Blade Productions and writer/director of Pilgrim's Progress.

UPDATE: We need to correct something that we said during the review. We mentioned that the name for God in Pilgrim's Progress, "The Absolute", was also used in the Spirit Blade Trilogy. That is, in fact, not correct. The name for God that is used in the Spirit Blade Trilogy is "The Only." Thanks for catching our mistake, Paeter! -JD
