An earthquake measuring 6.4 magnitude struck Nepal, causing mass destruction and hundreds of people losing their lives.
Nepal’s National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Center said its epicenter was at Jajarkot, which is about 250 miles northeast of the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu.
According to local officials, the locations most affected were the Jajarkot district and the West Rukum district. He said thousands of houses in the two districts had been completely damaged.
