B-2“幽靈”（英語：Spirit）是目前世界上唯一的隱身戰略轟炸機。諾斯洛普／波音團隊於1981年10月20日打敗洛克希德／洛克威爾，贏得先進技術轟炸機計劃（The Advanced Technology Bomber, ATB），在麻省理工學院科學家協助之下為美國空軍研製生產[2][3][4]。 1997年，首批六架B-2轟炸機正式服役，而至今一共只生產21架。在F-117A夜鷹攻擊機退役，F-35閃電II式戰鬥機尚未服役之時，B-2與F-22猛禽式戰鬥機為目前世界上僅有可以進行對地攻擊任務的隱身型機種。每架B-2造價為24億美元，若以重量計，B-2的重量單位價格比黃金還要貴兩至三倍。
