Powell: Fed Policy Easing Likely Appropriate This Year

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell says it will likely be appropriate to ease policy at some point this year "if the economy evolves broadly as expected." He speaks at a news conference following the decision by the Fed's policy-setting Federal Open Market Committee to leave its benchmark rate unchanged.
