杉原灣是都蘭的核心區域，在台11線濱海公路上，離台東市中心僅12公里，從市區出發，只需15分鐘內即可抵達。
杉原灣半月形的海灣和長達1.5公里的沙灘坡度平緩、沙質細緻親人、海水澄澈而無暗潮，還有完整的珊瑚礁群落，十分適合戲水消暑。杉原灣開始發展生態休閒漁業，在這裡，可以享受親近魚兒和自然的完整樂趣。

Shanyuan Bay
Shanyuan Bay is the longest sandy beach on the east coast of Taiwan. It is significant in terms of cultural and historic importance. It is the indigenous land for three Amis tribes, Jialulan, Citong, and Dulan. In the Amis language, the beach is called "Fudafudak," which means sparkling. Indigenous activities such as gathering food and festivals take place here. Shanyuan Bay is a key part of Dulan and only 12 kilometers away from downtown Taitung. The short 15 minute drive makes Shanyuan Bay easily accessible. On the way to the beach, visitors pass by Xiaoyeliu. Check two attractions off your list when you , swing by Xiaoyeliu before a day at Shanyuan Bay.
