Silicon Valley Bank was the most important financial institution for the biggest innovation hub in the world, and its failing was an extinction level threat. In this video, I'm going to give a real-time narration of what the bank run was like in the middle of it as a venture capitalist in Silicon Valley, trying to triage and work through it with dozens of startups. The government later stepped in (taxpayer-free) to guarantee deposits.
