U.S. election may affect Taiwan's future more than Taiwan's own election, think tank says

Richard Haass, president emeritus of the Council of Foreign Relations, discusses the Taiwan election and says "none of the three candidates is advocating a radical departure in policy. No one, for example, is talking about independence," adding that "I don't think any outcome is going to change the fundamentals of the status quo."
