[1] brochure a type of small magazine that contains pictures and information on a product or a company. 是一種小雜誌，其中包含有關產品或公司的圖片和信息。 brochure 它的用途通常是用來宣傳某個地點、場所或是介绍產品或服務。所以它的中文意思比較像是印刷精美有圖片說明偏大的小冊子。 brochure 可以用在各行各業，比如你可能聽過 travel brochure 就是旅游手冊的意思。通常會放在飯店櫃檯，裡面通常會介绍旅游目的地和飯店設施的詳細消息，它的目的是想說服你購買特定 的旅遊服務。 [2] pamphlet a thin book with only a few pages that gives information or an opinion about something. 是一本只有幾頁的書，內容是關於某件事情的資訊或意見。 pamphlet 也用来提供人們資訊，但用途更接近 “說明手冊”，用來展示某人對某個主题的看法或觀點，目的是用來說服他人同意某個觀點。教會、圖書館有時會看到這種偏小但裝訂漂亮的手冊，用來傳教的很多。 [3] booklet a very thin book with a small number of pages and a paper cover, giving information about something. 一本頁數很少的書，具有紙質封面，內容是關於某件事情的信息。 注意這裡講的 a small number of pages 和前面提到的 pamphlet 提到的 only a few pages 有點不一樣，它含蓋的內容應該是更多頁數。 Booklet 也是一本小冊子，裡面不僅有文字介紹，可能還包含了一堆圖片。裡面的內容很詳細，讀者還能透過圖片更生動地了解，特別適合像產品說明書、活動資料這樣的情境。
