The potential world heritage site: The Alishan Forest railway.
The Forest Railway was originally constructed by the Japanese Colonial Government to facilitate the logging of cypress from Alishan. Alishan was one of the 3 biggest wood farms in Taiwan. The railway has positively contributed to the propensity of Chiayi County and later has been listed as a potential World Heritage Site. This time, the World’s No. 1 team is taking the 100-years-old steam train to start our exploration in Alishan township to see the most beautiful and original scenery in Alishan mountain.
It will be coming on GTV at 21:30 on 6th, June.
