昭和55年(1980年)2月15日に運行開始した名古屋市交通局の高速1系統は、名古屋市営バスで唯一都市高速道路を通過する路線でした。
立席でも乗車できる一般路線バス車両ですが、名古屋高速道路（高辻～大高間）、自動車専用道（大高～有松間）を経由する、全国的に見ても珍しい路線でした。
2022年4月1日の運行をもって廃止されることになり、廃止を告げる自動放送が組み込まれました。
森の里団地→栄バスターミナル（オアシス21）までの全区間を4K映像で記録しました。

Nagoya City Transportation Bureau's Highway 1 route, which began service on 15 February 1980, was the only Nagoya City bus route to pass through the urban motorway.
These were regular route bus vehicles that could accommodate standing passengers, but were unusual in Japan in that they travelled via the Nagoya Expressway (between Takatsuji and Odaka) and a motorway (between Odaka and Arimatsu).
It will be discontinued with service on 1 April 2022.
The entire route from Morisato Danchi, the first bus stop, to Sakae Bus Terminal (Oasis 21) was recorded in 4K.
