Goldman Sachs are reported to have produced a study on the impacts of brexit and concluded that the hit to GDP is 5%, rather than the 4% forecast by independent economists some years ago. Perhaps the worse than expected outcome is down to a government which has managed to make brexit even worse in an attempt to deny the consequences.
