Nantou County, The geographical center of Taiwan. It’s the only county on the island that doesn’t touch the sea, with some calling it the inland of Taiwan. Nantou is a magical place. Taiwan’s highest peak Jade Mountain, largest natural lake Sun Moon Lake, and longest river the Zhuoshui River are all there, not to mention 10 sprawling leisure farms for agricultural tourism.
