Paiwan choreographer, Bulareyaung, once choreographed for Cloud Gate 2 in Taiwan and the Martha Graham Dance Company in New York. Years later, he returned to his home in Taitung, where he founded Bulareyaung Dance Company. Together, Bulareyaung and his dancers create new shows to tour across tribal communities in Taiwan. Today, the tour has turned into the Qaciljay Arts Gathering,
a pillar of performance art in Taidong, along the east coast of Taiwan.
