Do you know that the biggest social movement in Taiwan can be traced back to the period of Japanese rule? That is the Petition Movement for the Establishment of a Taiwanese Parliament. It lasted 14 years and evoked the public awareness of being Taiwanese. In this video, we will not only talk about this movement but also the communist party in Taiwan.
