亞洲第一個現代舞團雲門舞集，創團總監林懷民於2019年底退休，2020年由雲門2藝術總監鄭宗龍接任。藝術很有事節目以近一年的時間，記錄他的作品《毛月亮》及接任前的心路歷程。
鄭宗龍出身台北艋舺，從擺攤叫賣的幼年汲取創作靈感，作品交織臺灣街頭張力與人生百態。他的作品《牆》、《一個藍色的地方》、《十三聲》等，被國際舞壇譽為是舞蹈界新鮮而獨特的聲音。《毛月亮》更被讚譽為「兇猛而美麗」的作品。
過去不愛睡覺、幻想自己是詩人的鄭宗龍，如今每天黎明即起，跟舞團一起工作。「舞蹈是一個人最好的一種表達方法，就是流汗然後一直練習，腳皮破了再黏起來繼續跳。」

Lin-Hwai Min, founder of Asia’s first modern dance troupe, the Cloud Gate Theatre, announced his retirement at the end of 2020. CHUNG Tsung-Lung, acting artistic director of Cloud Gate 2, was named Lin’s successor and assumed his position in 2020. Inside the Arts followed CHUNG over the past year to record his new production 22º Lunar Halo and to gain insight into his preparations for the role.
CHENG Tsung-lung was born and raised in Bangka District. The choreographer draws creative inspiration from the bustling markets of his childhood to choreograph works that incorporate the allure of the Taiwanese streets and the dynamic pace of everyday life. His productions, including The Wall, Blue Hour, and 13 Tongues, have earned a reputation in the international dance community for their fresh perspectives and distinctive sound. The latest, 23 Lunar Halo, is celebrated as a fiercely beautiful production.
CHUNG Tseng Lung who once spent sleepless nights imaging himself as a poet now rises with the dawn to work with his dance troupe. "Dance is the best kind of self-expression. You sweat, keep practicing until your feet blister, then you tape ‘em up and keep going."
