Ex-UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness told James O'Brien that the UK's withdrawal of aid funding for Gaza is 'immoral'.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has said it is 'extremely desperate' after further funding has been pulled, including from the UK.
The halt in funding comes as the agency has sacked several of its staff over allegations they were involved on 7 October, when Hamas gunmen infiltrated Israel, killing about 1,300 people.
Mr Gunness has deemed it a 'disgrace' pointing to those who will have lost support as a result, he added the decision was 'punitive and disproportionate'.
